What is the difference between IPSec and SSL VPN?+
IPSec creates always-on encrypted tunnels between fixed locations (branch offices) — ideal for site-to-site connectivity. SSL VPN provides on-demand remote access for individual users via FortiClient — ideal for work-from-home staff. Most businesses need both.
Can RYZEN configure VPN on our existing FortiGate?+
Yes. RYZEN configures IPSec and SSL VPN on your existing FortiGate — no new hardware needed. We just need admin access. Typically completed in half a day.
How many SSL VPN users can connect simultaneously?+
Depends on your FortiGate model. FortiGate 60F supports 200 concurrent SSL VPN users; FortiGate 100F supports 500+. RYZEN checks your licence and hardware before deployment.
What is SD-WAN and do I need it?+
SD-WAN intelligently routes traffic across multiple WAN links (Unifi, TIME, Maxis) and auto-failovers if one drops. Essential if you have multiple branches or want to replace MPLS. FortiGate SD-WAN is included at no extra licence cost.
