When FortiGuard subscriptions expire, your FortiGate stops receiving threat signature updates — IPS signatures, virus definitions and web filter URL databases become outdated. Your firewall hardware still works, but it no longer protects against new threats. FortiCare expiry means no firmware updates (security patches) and no TAC support. RYZEN strongly recommends renewing before expiry.

Log in to your FortiGate GUI → System → FortiGuard. You'll see all subscriptions with their expiry dates. Alternatively, send RYZEN your FortiGate serial number and we'll check for you within 24 hours. We also proactively remind managed clients 90 days before their licenses expire.

After payment confirmation, RYZEN will apply the new license to your FortiGate account within 1–2 business days. The license activates automatically on the FortiGate — no intervention needed. We'll send you a renewal confirmation and updated expiry date.
