Common questions
Do HCP licences expire like antivirus?
The core licences are perpetual — you buy the channel or module once. What you may add is upgrade/maintenance coverage for new versions, which we'll quote alongside so there's no surprise later.
Can you add licences to an HCP system another vendor installed?
Yes. We check what's activated on your server, quote the expansion, and activate it — no need to go back to the original installer.
We use iVMS-4200 free software — when do we need HCP?
When you cross roughly a few dozen cameras, need multi-site central view, door access on the same platform, ANPR, attendance, or proper user permissions — that's HCP territory. We'll tell you honestly if free iVMS still covers you.
